STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Shopping experts know that Memorial Day weekend offers one of the best opportunities to score big savings on everything for the home.

It’s not just the unofficial beginning of summer, it’s the unofficial time to stock up and find big savings at Wayfair.com’s Memorial Day Sale, which already launched and offers huge discounts right through the three-day weekend.

Julie Ramhold, shopping expert, told the Advance/SILive.com that Memorial Day sales often begin before the holiday weekend, and continue right past it.

“Unlike many other holiday sales, Memorial Day events don’t necessarily end on the day itself or even the day after,” said Ramholf. “Some stretch through the end of the week, and others even go slightly beyond that.”

Wayfair.com, in particular, is known to offer deep discounts around Memorial Day.
