Anyone who usually spends their downtime with a cup of coffee and a good book can tell you just how quickly those books can pile up. Having a full bookcase is great, but maybe there's a more artistic way of showing them off—and sure, you could stow them away, but displaying your favorite reads is just one more way of turning your house into a home. So, what if I told you a $15 piece of metal could turn your walls into book storage that doubles as art?

As Domino pointed out at the end of last year, Umbra's floating bookshelf, cleverly and appropriately called the "Conceal" shelf, will make your bookworm-meets-design dreams a reality. The silver shelves are invisible once you stack your favorite books on them (since it's designed so that the bottom book actually envelopes the shelf), making it look like all those novels you've been collecting are actually suspended in the air. And honestly, who needs a gallery wall when you can have floating books livening up your space!

The shelves come in a small and a large size, with the small measuring 5.25 inches wide and holding up to 15 pounds, and the large measuring 7 inches wide and holding up to 20 pounds. You can purchase each shelf individually on Amazon (the small retails for $12.88, and the large retails for $15) or purchase each size in a set of 3. Oh, and if you're still not totally sold by how seriously cool these shelves look, you should know that there are more than 1,000 reviews from happy customers on Amazon to back them up, too.
